Sustainable Design - A Primer

This two-hour online interactive course is intended to introduce the concept of “sustainable” or “green” design to both architects and engineers of all disciplines. The course serves only as a primer on the concepts involved with this topic, and is not intended to provide in-depth information on the process used to become a specialist in this arena. The course will identify available resource materials that can be ordered via the Internet or at different booksellers locally and nationally, as well as various programs now available for use as an aid in the design of sustainable building projects. The information presented in this course has been assembled from these various resources (with appropriate credit given where applicable) and the reader is encouraged to further their interest through these materials. This course includes a multiple choice quiz at the end. You must have Flash Player Version 7 or higher to view some parts of this course. We also recommend you view this course in Internet Explorer.
